There is a use case of needing multiple Proxy users for a given Creative Banks site and the reasons may vary. Could be a geographical location, freelance users for multiple projects, or ever co-location sister sites and maybe each case needs different Volume permissions or different metadata requirements.
Each CB Site can only have one assigned Proxy user for the automated registration process. But you can reassign Proxy user names to the registrant from within the Admin interface under the ‘CB Users’ tab.

In this example my ezX Creative Bank Site is napc. The assigned Proxy user name is, CB-NAPC1
and the screen grab shows two users have registered as BillyBob and HHoudini to this site.

 

You can edit individual users with the pencil icon to the right. Then select the Proxy Username field and stat typing the new user name. It’s a predictive field and will show corresponding user names with the entered value. Select the name from the listing you want to change to. You’ll also need to enter this new users password. Select Apply or Save to enable the change.

 

And here is the CB User page reflecting my change. The registered user, BillyBob is still assigned to the napc Site, but the Proxy Username under ‘Access’ has been changed from CB-NAPC1 to be CB-NAPC2.

 

In my screen shot below the user CB-NAPC2 has a metadata template and permission set assignment from it’s Primary Group, CB-NAPC. It’s Primary Group assignment is Template name Workflow, with External_Client Permission set. I’ve changed the Template assignment from Primary Group to individual and assigned the same named Template, Workflow, because I just want to change this users Permission set for editable metadata with the Art-Buyer setting.

 

And you can see in a Report Generator activity report that Registered Users BillyBob and HHoudini are in fact preforming file downloads as different Proxy users. Report Generator has settings to read the Creative Banks database to differentiate Proxy users to Registered User name activity.
